Analyzing a promotional article

The writer uses hyperbole such as 'glittering career' and 'spectacular' to give more emphasis on how good Dizzee Rascal is, also this attracts the audience because t's more intersting and makes the audience want to carry on reading. The target audience is people who use myspace, but also the writer is trying to make the target audience very broat by telling us all the artists Dizze has played/made songs with and also telling us all the countries he's performed in. The writer does this to give Dizze Rascal more promotion and so that he has a wider variety fan base and more people will buy his brand.

School magazine prelim task

This is the front cover of my pre-lim task. I chose the yellow background to make the font on top of it really stand out, also i chose this font because it is bold and is really appealing to the target audience (kids at schools). I chose this imagine because it is representing students at Acland Burghley school and showing that they are happy here and that it's a good place to learn.
